Double Barrel Issue No. 9 Sneak Peek

This is no belated April Fool's joke: A new DOUBLE BARREL is here! And it's our fattest issue yet, thanks to our new collaborator Tim Sievert, an awesome Minneapolis cartoonist who will be serializing his D&D-inspired epic The Clandestinauts over the next four issues.

With Tim Sievert coming to work at Double Barrel World Headquarters, Zander and Kevin offer up the newbie a few unbreakable rules of cartooning:

In Zander's HECK, our protagonist comes face to face with the big man downstairs. And if you're thinking to yourself, "Does Heck really meet the Devil? Is this for real?", the answer is:

Just north of Hell, in Crater XV, the action is ramping up as Shanks and Pravda search desperately for Wendy, and Ken Arluk gathers a team of engineers to launch a rocket to the moon:

Prepare to get sucked into a world of sorcery, guts, and partial nudity as we premiere Part One of Tim Sievert's THE CLANDESTINAUTS:

In the World War I novella PENNY FROM THE FRONT, Penny -- troubled by the bureaucratic nightmare that is Canadian warfare -- decides to take matters into her own hands:

Jin is as precocious as ever in this month's TALES OF JIN:

In the latest installment of HOW TO, Zander dives into his experiences during his twenty years in cartooning and pulls out the twenty most important lessons he's learned along the way.

And don't forget to pre-order your copies of CRATER XV and HECK! You can order just the books themselves OR a jam-packed special edition, packed with a handful of extra goodies for only ten bucks more!

Thanks everyone!
